Me and my husband were in a rush to get to the airport for a trip with our kids. My husband and son started walking ahead of me and my daughter and we ended up getting separated. I was pulling luggage behind me and had to get it to the front desk to get checked in before the flight took off. I tried calling my husband on the phone but we never could get ahold of each other. I rushed to the gate with my luggage and daughter and checked in on time and got on the plane. My husband and son ended up on a different flight, but we somehow ended up at the same place. When we got to our destination, we were trying to find a hotel and ended up staying at a really nice one and decided to switch hotels because it was to expensive. We found a new hotel that was decorated in red velvet and older. I could smell the old in the hotel. I was waiting on the front desk lady who was nowhere to be seen and the owner of the hotel ended up coming and helping us. He placed us on the second floor.
Dreams about airports often symbolize a desire for change or exploring new opportunities. Your rush to get to the airport with your family may suggest feelings of pressure or urgency in your waking life, possibly related to current responsibilities or goals. The separation from your husband and son could indicate feelings of disconnection or being out of sync with them in some aspect of your life.
The luggage in your dream represents the baggage or responsibilities you are carrying with you. The struggle to stay connected with your husband via phone could indicate difficulties in communication or a lack of understanding in your waking life.
Boarding the plane on time despite the challenges may suggest a sense of accomplishment or resilience in the face of obstacles. The fact that your family ended up on different flights but still met at the same destination could symbolize that despite different paths or approaches, you are ultimately all aiming for the same goals or destinations.
The change of hotels from a luxurious one to a more vintage, old-smelling one may represent a shift from focusing on material wealth or appearances to valuing authenticity and character. The interaction with the hotel owner could symbolize seeking guidance or support from unexpected sources to navigate a situation.
Being placed on the second floor of the hotel may suggest a need to elevate or shift your perspective in some area of your life. Overall, this dream may reflect your current experiences of challenges, resilience, connection, and seeking new perspectives or authentic experiences.
